Over the past 35 years, many horses have lived and worked on the farm. In the early years, John Rees Lewis began his ‘Dyfed’ line of Shire Horses with the mares Stuntney Deborah and St Juliet’s Harmony. Since then, Dyfed born horses from our farm have been sold to America, Europe and the Middle East.
Recently we have sold 2 of our most popular horses, Joe and JR. They have been sent to a Middle eastern Royal Family to be trained as Drum horses.
We will always remember our trusty workers; Duke and Macs. Our show stoppers; Countess and Duchess.
We are very fortunate to be in regular contact with new owners of our old horses. General, Epona and Lancelot to name a few.
Whilst visiting the farm, you can also visit our lost horses final resting place. A standing stone has been placed for us to remember our 4-legged family members.
