Can we ride the Shires?

No, as much as we would love to share the wonders of riding a heavy horse, it is not an attraction we provide. We do however, welcome you to get up close cuddle, scratch, get pictures and also enjoy our Horse and Cart ride.

Do we need to pay for the rides?

No, once you pay to enter the farm everything is inclusive. We do however have a number of coin operated ride-ons and request a refundable deposit for the crazy golf, table tennis, skittle alley and croquet.

Is there disabled access?

Yes, we have disabled toilets and the yard is on a gentle slope with no steps. The paddocks and enclosures can be accessed by most wheelchairs and pushchair’s. If you would like to check further details, please contact us.

Can we get a group discount?

Yes, group discounts are available for groups of 10+ please call in advance to check for prices.

Do you do season tickets?

Yes, we have family season tickets available – prices can be found in our Opening Times & Prices Page.

Can we book the cafe/farm for a private function?

Yes, we welcome birthday parties and other events. Please call if you would like information.
